Directions

1. Cut 2 pieces of cardstock to 6 x 6.

2. Cut squares of printed paper to 2 1/4 x 2 1/4.

3. Sand or ink squares as desired.

4. Layer squares on background cardstock in a modified checkerboard pattern along left edge, centered from top to bottom.

5. Trim photo to 4 1/2 x 4 1/2.

6. Ink or sand photo edges as desired.

7. Place photo on second piece of cardstock along right edge, making sure to align photo exactly with printed paper squares on opposite page.

8. This layout also looks great with the photo on the right side and the patterned paper squares on the left.

What a great way to complete a simple. smart. sophisticated album!.
